I had to look up Jules Renard - I'm so not well read! He was a funny guy,in a profound kind of way, that Jules.

Okay Pat, time for some true confessions...

I am not that well read, either. However, I am a subscriber to ThinkExist daily quotes, and the one from Jules Renard just happened to pop into my Inbox.

I have heard of him before, I cannot remember where or in what context.

There, now you have the whole story. lol
