Keeping things in perspective

"Everything you want is out there waiting for you to ask. Everything you want also wants you. But you have to take action to get it."
Jules Renard

I had to look up Jules Renard - I'm so not well read! He was a funny guy,in a profound kind of way, that Jules.
I like this one too:
"I am not sincere, even when I say I am not."
I like this one:

Ecclesiastes 3, 9-12

What does the worker gain from his toil?
I have seen the burden God has laid on men.
He has made everything beautiful in its time.
He has also set eternity in the hearts of men...
I know there is nothing better for men to eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil - this is the gift of God.

I find this passage very meaningful. Keeps things in perspective for me. :)
Okay Pat, time for some true confessions...

I am not that well read, either. However, I am a subscriber to ThinkExist daily quotes, and the one from Jules Renard just happened to pop into my Inbox.

I have heard of him before, I cannot remember where or in what context.

There, now you have the whole story. lol
Thanks Marlo!
Thanks for sharing that, Emme :) It really does kinda put my current situation in a more...universal...perspective.
