Garden Variety Neurosis

I got a call this morning to confirm a doctor's appointment I did not even know I had. Apparently, the doctor who removed my kidney found something on my ct scan from a week or so ago, and he wants to see me right away. I am going in first thing Monday morning. I asked the receptionist if it was urgent, as I had plans to be out of town until Monday evening. She said it couldn't wait and I needed to come in.

I am scared. I am also worn out. So very tired...
